German automaker, Volkswagen, is using the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show to unveil a pretty unique concept vehicle called the Cross Coupe. The latter of the two is an all-wheel drive hybrid drivetrain that features a turbocharged gas engine and a pair of electric motors that are found on both the front axle and the rear axle of the SUV.
Concept for the brand chose a hybrid powertrain, which is formed by association between the combustion engine turbo 54 hp and two electric motors on the front axle and one other in the rear that produces 114 hp, respectively. In the combined power is delivered 265 horsepower capable of carrying the Cross Coupe from 0-100 km / h in 7 seconds and reach a top speed of 201 km/h.
